Ghost Action 1.0b3, a Mac GTD tool, released

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

Version 1.0b3 of Ghost Action has been released. The new release contains a number of bug fixes and stability improvements and is a recommended download for all users.

This is a beta (prelimary) version that you can use for free until Nov 8. As with all beta versions, there might be some rough edges, so don’t use it with data you can’t afford to lose.

Ghost Action is a new to do list manager that helps you keep track of what you need to do using the Getting Things Done method.

Ghost Action, a new Getting Things Done (GTD) application for Mac OS X, released today

Wednesday, October 18th, 2006

Ghost Action is basically a glorified to do list application, customized for ease of use with the GTD method. I have been using GTD since 2001 and noticed the lack of good applications suitable for this method. So in 2006 I founded Ghost Park Software to develop a high quality GTD application for the Mac.

Features:

  • Group actions according to project or context
  • Synchronize with any iSync compatible device such as a PDA or a phone
  • Both contexts and projects are synchronized
  • Smooth synchronization with iCal and .Mac using Sync Services
  • Developed for Mac only
  • Attractive and easy to use Cocoa user interface
  • Full keyboard navigation

Ghost Action will be especially suited for people synchronizing their GTD information to a handheld device, such as a Palm or Pocket PC PDA or a Smart Phone.

Starting today, a free beta version (0.7 Mb) is available for download. Further information can be found at Ghostpark Software. Feedback can be given on this blog, or at the support page.
