Ghost Action 1.0b3, a Mac GTD tool, released
Version 1.0b3 of Ghost Action has been released. The new release contains a number of bug fixes and stability improvements and is a recommended download for all users.
This is a beta (prelimary) version that you can use for free until Nov 8. As with all beta versions, there might be some rough edges, so don’t use it with data you can’t afford to lose.
Ghost Action is a new to do list manager that helps you keep track of what you need to do using the Getting Things Done method.

Uh… horrible clone of Actiontastic -> http://www.kaboomerang.com/blog/category/actiontastic/. Not that you didn’t already know about it.

mGee, I admit that the first impression of Ghost Action as compared to Actiontastic is that they are very similar on first impression. However, neither is a clone of the other, as my UI design was finished in May 2006, before Actiontastic had been announced. And since Actiontastic was announced when very few people had seen Ghost Action, I can say for sure that Actiontastic is not a clone of Ghost Action.
When I saw Actiontastic, I was surprised of how similar the UI design was to my application. But after thinking about it for a while, I realized that the design is simple, efficient and following UI conventions, so there is no surprise that other people would come up with the same idea.
Since spring when I started developing Ghost Action, there has been a stream of announcements about GTD apps. It will lead to some intense competition, and in the end a few applications will emerge as winners, each serving a slightly different market. If you are a GTD user, this is very good news for you. I have a long list of great ideas for Ghost Action, so I think I have a good chance to be one of the winners.

Then I’d suggest bringing in the differing ideas sooner than later. Right now your app looks like a clone due to Actiontastic having been publicly release prior to yours.
