However, neither is a clone of the other, as my UI design was finished in May 2006, before Actiontastic had been announced. And since Actiontastic was announced when very few people had seen Ghost Action, I can say for sure that Actiontastic is not a clone of Ghost Action. When I saw Actiontastic, I was surprised of how similar the UI design was to my application. But after thinking about it for a while, I realized that the design is simple, efficient and following UI conventions, so there is no surprise that other people would come up with the same idea. Since spring when I started developing Ghost Action, there has been a stream of announcements about GTD apps. It will lead to some intense competition, and in the end a few applications will emerge as winners, each serving a slightly different market. If you are a GTD user, this is very good news for you.
