Ghost Action 1.0b12

Many improvements including a redesign of the GUI and improved keyboard navigation.

Improvements

  • Expiration date for beta moved to 20th of January.
  • Actions are always created and edited directly in the list of actions instead of in separate windows
  • Notes and due dates can be directly edited in two new controls in the main window
  • Pressing return or space when an action is selected will edit it
  • Pressing return while editing names or due dates will finish the editing
  • It is now possible to navigate in the action, project and context lists using the up and down arrows.
  • Pressing tab while editing an action will move to the next editable field
  • Contexts and projects can now be created through the meny and keyboard shortcuts
  • The filters “only due actions” and “only actions not done” now remembers their state between launches.
  • The autosync is now also performed when the application enters the foreground
  • Nicer looking add buttons
  • The due column now shows “Dec 25″ instead of “12/25″

Bug fixes

  • A due action would sometimes not be shown when “only due actions” were selected.
  • The column widths would appear incorrect after restart if the split view bar had been moved
  • The filters “only due actions” and “only actions not done” now always have the same state in the project, context and action views
  • Improved navigation using tab between controls
  • Actions that are done are now shown in gray
  • Projects that have no incomplete actions are now shown in gray

Ghost Action is a new to do list manager for Mac that helps you keep track of what you need to do using the Getting Things Done (GTD) method.

    i’m liking this alot, more stable.

    pressing tab always makes it jump to the due date instead of “context” like i would expect.

    i would love to enter an entire action without having to mouse.

    example, it would be command-n, enter action, tab to “context”, type first letter(s) to find context (or up/down arrow to choose from list), press tab to “project” type first letter(s) to find project (or up/down again), tab to due date, tab to priority. done.

    it’s a great product that i’d love to stick with, simple and fast.
