			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have just released Actions 1.0 and could use some attention. We think it’s great and it&#8217;s now ready for beta testing. Here are some of the highlights:</p>
<ul>
<li>Really fast startup and navigation, even with a very large set of actions.</li>
<li>Very nice support for the GTD method</li>
<li>Simple and easy to use. You don’t need to be a GTD expert to use it.</li>
</ul>
<p>Because of limitations set by Apple we can only invite a limited number of beta testers. If you are interested in participating send an email to <script type="text/javascript">var username = "support"; var hostname = "ghostparksoftware.com";document.write("<a href=" + "mail" + "to:" + username + "@" + hostname + ">" + username + "@" + hostname + "<\/a>")</script><noscript>(You need to turn on Javascript to see the email address, since it is spam protected)</noscript>. Please include your 40 character Iphone identifier (UDID). You can find it in iTunes when your iPhone is connected if you click on the Serial Number label in the Summary screen. </p>
<p>Each tester that finds a serious bug will receive a free copy of Actions when it is released. </p>
<p>More information about Actions to follow soon…</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have got several requests from users that want to see Ghost Action on the iPhone. I too would like that very much. But it will not happen as long as Apple doesn&#8217;t want it to. There is no way I can make that a viable business. That&#8217;s a pity since Ghost Action would work very well as a native iPhone application.</p>
<p>I think that locking out 3rd party developers from the iPhone is a really bad move by Apple. Especially when they are lying about the reasons for it. Hopefully there <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a40BQ8ThsTc" title="YouTube - Here's to all of the iPhone "misfits, crazy ones"!">will be</a> a <a href="http://www.scaryideas.com/print/4135/" title="Nokia: Phones should be open to anything">backlash</a> and they will have to rethink their decision.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s more likely than Apple opening up the iPhone, is that they will provide their own iPhone to-do list. That seems logical given that even Apple Mail in Leopard will handle to dos and that there is sophisticated support in OS X for syncing data including to-dos to handheld devices. This would be a workable solution since Ghost Action then could sync to the iPhone, but it would not be great, since Apple&#8217;s application most likely wouldn&#8217;t let you organize your todos both according to context and project as Ghost Action does.
</p>

Just because it is 1.0, it isn&#8217;t the final version of Ghost Action. I will continue to develop it in about the same pace as before, so continue to send me your feedback and suggestions.</p>
<p>Now at 1.0, it&#8217;s a good time to get some more attention. So I have an offer for all GTD bloggers out there. If you write on your blog that there is a new GTD app out, write a review of Ghost Action, or make a list of GTD software or something like that, I will send you a <strong>free license</strong>. You don&#8217;t have to write favorably about Ghost Action, just write what you think. The only conditions I have are the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Your blog must be registered at technorati.com and have ranking of at least 1,000,000 or better. This isn&#8217;t to hard if you have been running your blog for a while. As a comparison, <a href="http://www.43folders.com/">43folders.com</a> have a ranking of <a href="http://technorati.com/search/43folders.com">116</a>.</li>
<li>You must include a link to <a href="http://ghostparksoftware.com">Ghost Action</a>, and the link must be relevant to whatever you are writing about.</li>
<li>You must send me an email with the link to your blog post.</li>
<li>The blog post must be posted at no later than 28th of February.</li>
</ul>
<p>Allow me a few days, and I will send back the license to you.</p>
<p>The offer is valid also for blog posts already written. Bloggers who already have written about Ghost Action and fill the above criteria can email me for a free license. Also, bloggers who read the above after you bought your license, can still get a refund as long as Paypal still allows it. (The limit is 60 days after payment).</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The eagerly awaited feature printing has finally been implemented in Ghost Action 1.0b17. Currently all incomplete actions are printed grouped per context.</p>
<p>Below are two sample printouts:</p>
<p><img src="http://ghostparksoftware.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/200701262219.png" height="255" width="180" border="0" align="left" hspace="0" vspace="0" style="margin:0 1em 1em 0" /><img src="http://ghostparksoftware.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/print2.png" height="258" width="112" border="0" align="right" hspace="0" vspace="0" style="margin:0 0 1em 1em" /><span style="font-size:0pt;"><br />
</span>The printouts can be printed with different page formats and different font size. I would expect the printouts will be most useful when printing to smaller formats such as index cards or with several print pages per sheet. </p>
<p>The printout to the right have been printed with a different page format (using Page Setup&#8230;) and with fewer lines per page. The lines per page setting can be changed in the print dialog under the special &#8220;Ghost Action&#8221; setting.</p>
<p><img src="http://ghostparksoftware.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/200701262207-1.png" height="219" width="438" border="0" hspace="0" vspace="0" style=" clear:both; margin:0em 0em 1em 1em" /><br />
This should be seen as the first version of the printing support. Please experiment, give me your feedback, and tell me what I can improve. </p>
